Description
Touchwood Ecological and Social Foundation recognizes the challenges of conservation in the face of modern, global economy.

Hence we adopt a three pronged approach - Health, Education and Livelihood.

Health
■ Conducted over 75 Free Medical Camps
■ Free Treatment for over 22000+ patients till date (including our daily clinics).
■ Referred over 450+ patients for higher treatment.
■ Covered a population of over 1,00,000+ in more than 40 villages
■ Free vaccination camps for orphanages
■ Various awareness programs in hygiene, sanitation.

Education
■ Sponsored salaries for teachers of schools in the buffer zones and over 900 student benefited every month
■ Sponsors computers and furniture to orphanages
■ Sponsors basic amenities such as toilets and children play areas for schools

Livelihood
■ Creation of Eco-development committees in the Tiger Reserve
■ Design and development of vocational skills training
■ Creation of livelihood opportunities by creating Front End Mechanisms (FEM) for marketing
■ Aid in micro credit by identifying need versus supply gaps
■ Extensive documentation of strategies and deployment of resources.

Proposed projects
■ Build new clinics and hospitals
■ New school buildings
■ Repairs to existing schools
■ Create access to education and livelihood
■ Free Medical Camps in the Tiger Reserves.
■ Full time Free Medical Clinics to be opened in Tiger Reserves.
